Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria Tour

Take a historical journey through the Royal Botanic Gardens, the Kulin Nation cultural site. Your guide will teach you the importance and use Aboriginal native plants, connections to Country and heritage.

Reserve a spot with the AARE Conference booking through the Conference registration process for Sunday 26, or Thursday 30 November 2023.

Location: 100 Birdwood Avenue, Melbourne 3004

Meeting point: Please ensure that you check in at the customer service counter at the Melbourne Gardens' Visitor Centre 15 minutes before the program begins.

The Visitor Centre is located on Birdwood Ave, Melbourne, directly opposite the Shrine of Remembrance.

Time: Departs at 11am

Duration: 1.5hours

Available: Tuesday, Thursday and Sundays

Cost: $55.00 per person

Koorie Heritage Trust

Visit the Koorie Heritage Trust building for an insight and education on the cotemporary Victorian First Peoples art and history through events and exhibitions.

Tour groups minimum 10 – max 30 participants

Location: Yarra Building, Federation Square, Cnr Swanston & Flinders Streets Melbourne VIC 3000

Time: 9:30am – 4pm

Duration: half day or full day tours

Available: Monday - Friday

Bunjilaka Aboriginal Cultural Centre

Immerse yourself in the Bunjulaka Aboriginal Culture with the beautiful exhibitions showcasing native art, activities exploring Indigenous gardens and displays of history at the Melbourne Museum.

Peppermint Ridge Farm

Open since mid 1990’s the Peppermint Ridge Farm offers unique blend of Australian native food and education experiences. The Tour & Tasting includes guided tours of the Living Heritage Centre and their established native bushfood garden, followed by lunch in the Schoolhouse Café.
