Pre-Conference
Pre-Conference Lightning Talks
The AARE Pre-Conference (Sunday 26 November) will include a Lightning Talk session. We invite postgraduates and early career researchers in attendance to prepare a 2–3-minute Lightning Talk about their research. This is an oral presentation without slides and is an amazing opportunity to share your research (at whatever stage you are at in your project), get feedback from your peers or ideas about something you are pondering on, and practice speaking about your work. It is a lot of fun and very supportive! It is a great warm-up before presenting at the Conference too!
Registration to present a Lightning Talk at the Preconference is now open!
We invite postgraduates and early career researchers registered for the AARE Preconference (26 November) to put their names down to present a 2–3-minute Lightning Talk about their research. This is an oral presentation without slides and is an amazing opportunity to share your research (at whatever stage you are at in your project), get feedback from your peers or ideas about something you are pondering on, and practice speaking about your work. It is a lot of fun and very supportive! You don’t have to be presenting at the Conference, but if you are, it is a chance to warm up before your Conference presentation during the week.
We only have 30 presentation spots available, so don’t miss out! Please make sure you have registered for the Preconference before completing the registration form.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact Ellen and Sarah.
