How do you get to Macquarie University
Macquarie can be easily accessed by public transport. MQU have very own Sydney Metro train station on the corner of Herring Road and University Avenue, which is a two-minute walk to campus.
There are several public bus stops within the campus boundary on University Avenue that connect Macquarie to the rest of Sydney.

- If you are a domestic student, you may be eligible to get a student concession card.
Is there parking at Macquarie University?
You can access the campus by car via:
- Culloden Road (via Hadenfield Ave, Link Road and Gymnasium Road)
- Talavera Road (via Research Park Drive)
- Herring Road (via Innovation Road and University Ave)
- Epping Road (via Balaclava Road)
Vehicles are only permitted on public access roads unless otherwise stated.
Macquarie University is located in the suburb of Marsfield.
- If travelling from the Sydney CBD, the fastest way to reach the University is via the Lane Cove tunnel.
- If travelling from the Hills District and the greater west, take the M2 motorway (exit at the Christie Road or Herring Road off-ramps).
Macquarie University has over 4,500 parking spaces with priority given to students and staff who pay a special rate upon registering their Macquarie University ID via the payment and registration method specific to their group.

Macquarie University is a paid parking area.
- Visitors can choose from various options to pay.
Without the correct authorisation, you can risk being fined with a parking infringement notice.

REGISTRATION
How much are the registration fees / What is included in the registration fee?

I am a speaker; do I need to pay for my own registration?
Yes, all speakers who are attending AARE to present will need to register and pay for their own registration.
How do I confirm that I am successfully registered?
Once your registration is finalised, you will receive a confirmation email indicating that you are officially registered. Attached to this email will either be your tax invoice or receipt as proof of payment.
When do registrations close?
Registrations will be open until the end of the conference allowing you to register at your convenience.
Can registrations be shared? If I cannot attend, can a colleague attend in my place?
Registrations cannot be shared. If a delegate is no longer unable to attend the full conference, you can change the name on the registration by emailing the Conference Organisers at aare@thinkbusinessevents.com.au.
What are the methods of payments?
Registration can be paid by electronic funds transfers (EFT) or credit card only. For any questions in regards to this please contact aare@thinkbusinessevents.com.au.
Can I register now and pay onsite or after the conference?
No, all payments must be received prior to the conference commencing.
How can I amend or cancel my registration?
All cancellations and amendments cannot be accepted over the telephone. Cancellations and amendments must be sent in writing either by email to the Conference Organisers. All cancellations will be proceed in line with AARE Conference 2019’s cancellation policy.
How do I obtain a certificate of attendance?
A certificate of attendance will be emailed one week after the conference.
